The Colorado Eagles are committed to making a difference in the Northern Colorado community. We strive to give back to the people that have helped us become a household name in
. Through efforts of the Colorado Eagles Foundation, the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado, Hunter's Dream for a Cure, the Colorado Eagles Hockey Club,
Water
Valley, and many more, the Eagles have donated over $400,000 to the community in the past four seasons. Through their many programs, events and fundraising campaigns, the Eagles have cemented their place in the community, not only as a solid entertainment ticket at hockey games, but as a long-term and beneficial member. The Eagles players and staff have donated merchandise, tickets and their time to countless non-profit groups in hopes of helping those groups raise money for their respective organizations. Although the Eagles have helped many people in a lot of ways, their biggest undertaking has been that of the
Colorado Eagles Foundation and the efforts to build Inspiration Playground.
Inspiration Playground
The Colorado Eagles Foundation, a component fund of the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado, pledged to donate a total of $250,000 to the building of Inspiration Playground in
Fort Collins, and on October 27, 2007, the universally-accessible playground became the first of its kind in
Colorado. The playground provides a place for children of all physical abilities and ages. Helping the Eagles reach the $250,000 goal were: Hunter's Dream for a Cure,
Water
Valley and the Eagles' season tickets holders, sponsors and investors.

The Colorado Eagles Foundation held their first ever New Year’s Eve Gala to benefit Inspiration Playground and it was a great success. The entire team was at the event as well as a great dinner and live music provided by Rodney James and the Blue Flames. An auction of the Eagles black retro jerseys the team wore for the exhibition games helped make the night a huge success.
