Join us on Saturday January 12th as we host the 1st Annual First Responders Guns vs Hoses game. Come out and support those who help support us in the community, as local 1st Responders from Fort Collins Police and Firefighters go head-to head on the ice for a good cause.
Tickets for both Guns vs Hoses and The Colorado Eagles games are $30 and $14 from each ticket sold will go back to the following organizations, Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #3 and the Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund. Proceeds from the Guns vs Hoses Hockey Game go directly to each fund, at which point the individual boards determine recipients. Past recipients include Fort Collins' very own Payton Clow, a 23 year old who is battling Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and awaiting 5 organ transplants.
Their mission as non-profits is to provide monetary assistance to help Law Enforcement, Firefighters, and other First Responders, and their families who have died, or have been injured in the line of duty or are suffering from illness, disease, and or injury.
Doors for the Guns vs Hoses game will open at 2:30pm. Puck drop will be at 3:30pm. After the charity game, friends, families and supporters will exit the BEC and join players and committee members for a special “Line Change Party” in the McKee Building just south of the BEC . Make sure to hold onto your ticket as it will give you access to the Colorado Eagles game that night. The Colorado Eagles puck drop will be at 7:05pm. During the game we will recognize both 1st Responder teams.
