Eagles Wrap Up Series in the Desert

Apr 25, 2021

The Colorado Eagles are wrapping up their three-game series in Tucson Arizona with a matinee matchup against the Roadrunners.

Colorado forwards Jean-Luc Foudy and Alex Newhook each netted a goal, but a two-goal second period would provide the game-winning goal for Tucson, as the Roadrunners defeated the Eagles, 3-2 on Friday. Hunter Miska suffered the loss in net, allowing three goals on 31 shots. Specialty teams proved to be a bright spot for Colorado, as the penalty kill went a perfect 4-for-4 while the power play ended the night 1-for-2.

The Eagles own an all-time record of 18-8-1-0 against the Roadrunners in franchise history, with a 3-1-1 mark in their last four games against Tucson this season.
