As a mentor, he has honed his abilities to set an example for others in every facet of the game, selflessly believing that improvement is necessary for the benefit of his teammates, "If I want to tell them to do something, I have to be able to do it myself," Middleton clarified, emphasizing the importance of accountability for himself and his teammates.
Recognizing the value of guiding and mentoring the team's younger players, Middleton highlights the importance of having a solid work ethic and appreciating the game's enjoyment. "It's definitely not easy, this job, but it's fun. So, embrace the fun of it. But definitely still have the work ethic to give it your all."
