Audition Dates for 2026-27 Eagles Chicks Announced!

2026-27 Eagles Chicks Audition and Prep Class Information

The dates have been set for the 2026-27 Eagles Chicks Team audition and prep classes. Register today to secure your spot! Details can be found below.

Prep Classes:

  • Dates:
    • Sunday, August 2
    • Sunday, August 9
    • Sunday, August 16
  • Time: 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm 
  • Location: Just for Kix (445 Apex Drive, Windsor, Colorado 80550)
  • Cost: Prep classes are $20 each. *Classes are optional, and the price does not include audition registration.

Preliminary Auditions:

  • Date: Sunday, August 23
  • Time: 12:30 pm (check-in starts at 12:00 pm)
  • Deadline to register:  Thursday, August 20th at 5 pm
  • Location: Just for Kix (445 Apex Drive, Windsor, Colorado 80550)
  • Cost: $20 each, or bundle the audition with all three prep classes for just $75!
  • Note: Finalists will be emailed by 5:00 pm. Candidates who make it to the finals must be prepared to attend Finals Training Camp.

Finals Training Camp:

  • Dates: Monday, August 24, and Wednesday, August 26
  • Time: 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Location: W Club (1870 Marina Dr., Windsor, Colorado 80550)
  • Attire: All black dance shorts and crop top, jazz shoes and dance sneakers.

Finals:

  • Date: Sunday, August 30
  • Time: 12:30 pm
  • Location: Blue Arena (5290 Arena Circle, Loveland, Colorado 80538)
  • Note: Finalists will participate in group interviews, a hockey knowledge exam, and will perform a solo of their choice along with choreographed routines taught in training camp.

Prep Classes

Prep Class Details

What to Wear:

  • Dance/athletic top, comfortable for movement 
  • Form-fitting jazz pants, leggings or dance shorts 
  • Jazz shoes or non-marking sole sneakers 

Additional Notes:

During these prep classes, candidates will participate in a dance-style workout and stretch, led by Eagles Chicks alumni, current members, and/or directors. A quick round of technique/across the floor will take place, followed by the teaching of a game day style routine. Each session will end with a round of Q&A.

Audition Information

Audition Details

All Candidates Must:

  • Complete an Eagles Chicks online application 
  • Deadline to register:  Thursday, August 20th at 5 pm
  • Pay $20 application fee online, along with the registration application
  • Upload a headshot
  • Be 18 years of age by September 25, 2026
  • Hold a high school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Have reliable transportation to and from all Eagles home games and CEC practices. 
  • Eligible to legally work in the United States 

Additional Notes:

Check-in for auditions will begin at 12:00 pm. Dancers will learn an energetic game day routine. Candidates will perform the routine in front of the judging panel. It is possible that multiple cuts will be made before finalists are announced. Candidates should be prepared for multiple rounds and to perform additional choreography.
