FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

Q: Who is eligible to try out? Tryouts are open to men and women ages 18 and up.

Q: What should I wear to try out? Athletic pants and shirts are required for the on-ice portion (no jeans please) A well put together appearance is highly encouraged. Each candidate will need to have their own pair of skates. 

Q: What does the tryout process look like? Tryouts will consist of an on-ice portion where candidates will display their skating ability by completing various drills. After the skating portion candidates will be put into groups where they will go through a brief interview with Eagles staff assessing their knowledge on the Colorado Eagles and hockey.

Q: What is the commitment for the Flight Crew? Each game will have 6 skaters with a 90 minute prior to puck drop call time. The typical Eagles season runs October through April and playoffs after that. Team members will work the majority of home games. Flight Crew members will have the opportunity to work additional appearances or events during the season.

Q: Are Flight Crew Members paid? Yes, Flight Crew members will be paid an hourly rate for all games, community events, and team practices. 

Q: Will uniforms be provided? Yes, everything except skates will be provided to Flight Crew team members by the Colorado Eagles and will need to be returned at the end of the season.
