2026 Eagles Fight Cancer Jersey - Strength in the Design
As part of a special annual tribute to all who are affected by cancer, the Colorado Eagles players will be wearing lavender-themed specialty jerseys during the “Eagles Fight Cancer Weekend,” Friday, January 9th, and Saturday, January 10th, 2026.
This season’s jersey was designed by Colorado Eagles' own Ryan Nugent. Ryan is both the Manager of Ticketing Retention and Referrals and an integral part of the Design Team. This year’s jersey features a majority of the jersey clad in lavender, which renders a stunning contrast on the ice. Lavender is widely seen as a universal symbol for all cancers, serving as an unifying symbol of support for anyone affected by any type of cancer. Each side of the jersey is flanked with a large cancer ribbon that sweeps through the gusset and sleeve. The jersey crest features the Colorado Eagles' two-toned blue and white head logo, and the uniform is finished with a white helmet bearing the name of a cancer warrior, blue pants, and matching socks.
Replica jerseys will be released for sale to the general public on January 3rd at the Colorado Eagles Official Team Store at Centerra beginning at 10 am, while supplies last.
Authentic, game-worn jerseys will be available via auction on the DASH app, beginning Tuesday, January 6th at noon through Saturday, January 10th at 9 pm (MT). A portion of the proceeds will benefit the UCHealth Northern Colorado Foundation Oncology Patient Assistance Fund.
Ryan’s personal connection to the design can be seen here in this video interview.
