Defenseman Barberio Assigned to Eagles on Conditioning Stint

WINDSOR, CO. – The Colorado Eagles, proud AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, have announced that defenseman Mark Barberio has been assigned to the Colorado Eagles on a conditioning stint. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound blueliner has netted one goal in 12 games with the Avalanche this season and has notched 14 goals and 40 assists in 251 NHL games with Colorado, Montreal and Tampa Bay. Barberio has also appeared in 261 AHL contests with Norfolk, Syracuse and St. Johns, generating 35 goals and 137 assists in that time. He would go on to play in four AHL All-Star Games in 2012, 2013, 2016 and 2017.   

 

The Eagles return to action when they travel to Tucson, Arizona to take on the Tucson Roadrunners on Friday, March 29th at 8:05pm MT.
