Eagles Finish Off Regular Season With Three Game Home Stand

The Colorado Eagles will face off against the Ontario Reign at the Budweiser Events Center for the first game of the last three regular season games tonight at 7:05 pm MST. 


The last time the two teams met was earlier this month on the Eagles roadtrip in California, with the Eagles winning both of the games in Ontario. 


The first game saw the Eagles score eight goals, with Jacob MacDonald, Kiefer Sherwood, and Martin Kaut all netting two goals a piece, with the other two goals coming from Dylan Sikura and Jayson Megna respectively. Colorado goaltender Hunter Miska made 31 saves on 32 shots, helping his team win, 8-1. 


The second game saw a back and forth between the two teams for the first two periods of play, with Dylan Sikura, Gabriel Fontaine, and Jayson Megna scoring a goal a piece. The third period saw no goals from either team, forcing the game into overtime where Jayson Megna scored his second goal of the night. Eagles goaltender Justus Annunen had 15 saves on 18 shots, helping his team to hold off the Reign and win, 4-3.
