Eagles Head to Bakersfield for Set of Games

Feb 4, 2022

The Eagles are in Bakersfield tonight, taking on the Condors at 8 pm MST.

The two teams have met three times already this season. Colorado dropped the first meeting in Bakersfield on October 27, 2021, 5-4.

The Eagles came out on top of the next two matchups on home ice. The Eagles put up six unanswered goals on December 10, leaving the final score at 7-2. Seven different Eagles found the back of the net in that game, with Ryan Wagner, Callahan Burke, Roland McKeown, Andreas Wingerli, Kiefer Sherwood and Justin Barron all tallying multiple points. Burke even tallied a short-handed goal, while Sherwood scored on a penalty shot.

The next night was a little more even, seeing the Eagles win 2-1. Jordan Gross and Justin Barron would score for the Eagles. Both of these games saw Pavel Francouz in net, back in Loveland on a conditioning stint.
