Eagles Look To Win On Last Regular Season Roadtrip

Apr 15, 2022

The Colorado Eagles will face off against the Tucson Roadrunners at the Tucson Convention Center Arena for their last set of regular-season road games tonight at 8:00 pm MST.
The last time that the two teams met in February, they split the series. The first game, on February 11th, saw the Roadrunners scoring all three of their goals in the first period, the first goal coming from former Eagle Travis Barron. In the third period of play, after a rather quiet 20 minutes, Kiefer Sherwood scored the lone Eagles goal, leaving the Roadrunners with the win, 3-1. Eagles goaltender Hunter Miska had 25 saves on 28 shots.
The second game, on February 12th, was a different story. Colorado scored seven unanswered goals, with the Roadrunners' lone goal coming from Tyson Empey. Kiefer Sherwood scored a hat trick leading the Eagles to the win, 8-1. Eagles goaltender Trent Miner had 33 saves on 34 shots.
