Eagles Seek Redemption Against Silver Knights

The Colorado Eagles will seek redemption against the Henderson Silver Knights in the second of two weeknight games at the Budweiser Events Center this week. 

Henderson forward Paul Cotter scored the game-winning goal midway through the second period, while goaltender Dylan Ferguson turned aside 35 of the 37 shots he faced, as the Silver Knights defeated the Colorado Eagles, 3-2 on Tuesday. Cal Burke and Dennis Gilbert each found the back of the net in the loss for the Eagles.

Trent Miner suffered the loss in net, allowing three goals on 26 shots, as Colorado finished the night 1-for-1 on the penalty kill and 0-for-4 on the power play.

Forwards Mikhail Maltsev and Dylan Sikura were recently reassigned to the Eagles from the Colorado Avalanche. Trent Miner and Trey Bradley were recently recalled from the Utah Grizzlies.

Henderson has received defenseman Daniil Miromanov back from the Vegas Golden Knights. Goaltender Logan Thompson has been recalled to the Golden Knights and the Silver Knights have recalled goaltender Jiri Patera from Fort Wayne.
