Eagles Sign Forward Yanick Turcotte to AHL Contract

WINDSOR, CO. – The Colorado Eagles, proud AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, have announced that the team has signed forward Yanick Turcotte to a two-year AHL contract through the 2027-28 season. Turcotte spent the 2025-26 campaign with the Chicago Wolves, notching two assists and a team-leading 130 penalty minutes in 38 regular-season contests.

The 6-foot, 200-pound winger has competed in 67 career AHL games with the Wolves and Bridgeport Sound Tigers, collecting six assists and 299 penalty minutes in that span. In addition, Turcotte has skated in 176 ECHL contests with the Fort Wayne Komets, Adirondack Thunder, South Carolina Stingrays and Worcester Railers, amassing eight goals, 24 assists and 716 penalty minutes. He also spent one season competing overseas with Ferencvarosi TC of Erste Liga, collecting two goals, six assists and 140 penalty minutes in 28 games.

Prior to making the jump to the pro level, Turcotte spent four seasons in the QMJHL with the Quebec Remparts, posting 30 points and 335 penalty minutes in 212 total contests.

The Eagles will kick off the 2026-27 AHL regular season when they travel to take on the Tucson Roadrunners on Saturday, October 3rd. Colorado will make its home debut on Friday, October 9th against the Abbotsford Canucks at Blue Arena.
