Eagles Start Six-Game Homestand With Games Against Tuscon

The Eagles are back at the Budweiser Events Center tonight, taking on the Tuscon Roadrunners at 7:05 MST in the first game of a six-game homestand.

The last meeting between the two teams was in Tuscon last month, with the Eagles winning both games, the second of which ended in a shootout. Colorado had a combined eight goals on their trip to Arizona with Dylan Sikura scoring in both games. The Eagles continuously outshot the Roadrunners 40-30 during the January 8th game and 48-25 during the January 9th game.

Forward Dylan Sikura is currently recalled to the Colorado Avalanche.

Forwards Mikhail Maltsev and Dylan Sikura were recently reassigned to the Eagles from the Colorado Avalanche.

Tucson has added a new goaltender, David Tendeck, as Ivan Prosvetov has been recalled by the Arizona Coyotes.

The Colorado Eagles have a 21-13-3-3 record for the season, now sitting at 5th place in the Pacific Division. The Eagles are currently 3-1 this season against the Roadrunners. Colorado holds a 22-9-1 overall record against Tuscon.

Colorado - Bakersfield Connections

Former Eagles forward Travis Barron now plays for the Tuscon Roadrunners. He spent four seasons with the Colorado Eagles and won the ECHL Kelly Cup with Colorado in their final season before moving to the AHL.

Eagles defenseman Jordan Gross spent the last three seasons with Tuscon before becoming an Eagle this season.

Forward Sampo Ranta and Tuscon forward Matias Maccelli played together on the Finland national U16, U17, U18 and U20 teams.

Forward Gabriel Fontaine and Tuscon forward Lewis Zerter-Grossage played together on the Hartford Wolf Pack during the 2019-2020 season.
