The Eagles kicked off their 20th Anniversary Season last month and are looking to improve on an October that saw them go 3-4-0-0. The Eagles spilt their first series against the Texas Stars, winning Game One 6-3, before dropping Game Two 5-1. Heading home for the first series at the BEC of the season, the Eagles again split series with the Calgary Wranglers, winning 6-2 Friday, and falling 4-2 on Saturday. Colorado ended the month of October with a 3-game road trip, going 1-2 over the course of that trip, dropping one against San Diego and splitting their series with Henderson.
Colorado’s leading goal scorers over the course of the month were Charles Hudon with 8 points (4g, 4a), Jean-Luc Foudy with 7 points (3g, 4a) and Shane Bowers with 6 points (2g, 4a). Justus Annunen went 3-2-0 during the month with a 3.22 GAA, and a .892 Save %, while Jonas Johansson was 0-2-0 with a 3.03 GAA and a .918 Save %.
The Eagles start the month of November with a much needed 4 game homestand and look to get back to their winning ways in front of a sold out BEC.
