REIGN DANCE- Tonight’s match up is the second straight meeting between Colorado and Ontario after the Reign claimed a 6-3 victory over the Eagles last Sunday. Colorado is 2-2-0 against Ontario this season, going 1-1-0 in games played at Toyota Arena. Defenseman Jacob MacDonald leads the Eagles with three goals and two assists in four meetings against the Reign, while forward Jayson Megna has collected two goals and two assists in three games against Ontario. The Reign have been led by forward Mikey Eyssimont who has posted six points in four meetings with Colorado.
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS- Fridays have been particularly good to the Eagles this season, with Colorado going 12-2-1 in games played on Friday. With the majority of Eagles games being played on weekend dates, those 12 wins are the most of any day for Colorado, compared to a 9-7-3 mark on Saturdays and a 2-1-0 record during Sunday contests. The Eagles have won each of their last six Friday tilts and nine of their last 10 played on the final day of the work week.
