Oct 26, 2026
LOVELAND, CO. – Bakersfield scored three unanswered goals to break a 1-1 deadlock and defeat the Colorado Eagles 4-1 on Saturday. Condors forward Aku Raty netted a pair of goals in the victory, while goalie Nathan Day claimed his first win of the year in net, making 28 saves on 29 shots. Forward Nikita Prishchepov notched the Eagles lone goal, while goalie Trent Miner suffered the loss in net, allowing four goals on 30 shots.
Bakersfield would net the game’s first goal when forward Aku Raty drove into the zone, before cutting to the low slot and feeding the puck into the back of the net, giving the Condors a 1-0 edge at the 7:57 mark of the first period. Bakersfield would outshoot the Eagles 12-10 in the opening frame, bolstered by the only three power plays of the period.
Colorado would find an equalizer on the penalty kill, as forward Nikita Prishchepov snagged away a puck at center ice, before snapping home a wrister on the rush from the left-wing circle, tying the game at 1-1 at the 14:17 mark of the second period.
The Eagles would then earn their first power play of the night just moments later, but a bad bounce off the end boards would put the puck onto the tape of Condors forward Tucker Robertson, who would swipe it into the back of the net, giving Bakersfield a 2-1 advantage with 4:25 remaining in the middle frame.
A turnover at center ice would then spring the Condors on a 2-on-1 rush down the ice, as forward Seth Griffith lit the lamp with a shot from the right-wing circle, extending Bakersfield’s lead to 3-1 at the 18:03 mark.
The Condors would round out the scoring when a rush down the ice would see Raty bury his second goal of the night from the top of the crease, putting Bakersfield up 4-1 at the 14:32 mark of the third period.
Colorado finished the game 0-for-4 on the power play and a perfect 7-for-7 on the penalty kill.
The Eagles will be back in action when they take on the Charlotte Checkers on Tuesday, October 27th at 7:05pm MT at Blue Arena. Tickets for all Colorado Eagles home games are on sale now and can be purchased at ColoradoEagles.com.
