Eagles Kick-Off Four-Game Series Against the Stars

Mar 12, 2021

Friday's Game

The Eagles will shift their focus to the road, as Colorado will play the next seven games away from the Budweiser Events Center. The road trip kicks off Friday night with a four-game set against the Texas Stars. This is the first time the two teams have faced-off against each other since March 11th, 2020 - the last game Colorado played before the AHL season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Colorado looks to get back in the win column when they visit the Texas Stars on Friday. Eleven players of the Eagles roster have been recalled by the Avalanche and will be unavailable for the trip in Texas. Defenseman Miles Gendron and forward Riley Woods will make the trip after both were signed to professional tryout agreements earlier this week. Also making the trip is Martin Kaut who has missed the beginning of the season due to injury.

The Stars are currently 7-3-0 on the season and are on a four-game win streak. Texas is coming off a 4-2 win over the Tucson Roadrunners that featured a career-high 40 saves from goaltender Colton Point.
