Eagles Look to Bounce Back Against the Stars

Eagles Look to Bounce Back Against the Stars

Mar 13, 2021

The Eagles will continue their Texas road trip again tonight against the Texas Stars after falling 4-2 last night. Colorado outshot Texas 27-19 on Friday but still came up short in the first game of a four-game series.

Colorado found themselves in an early 2-0 deficit but picked up goals from forwards Mike Vecchione and Miikka Salomaki to tighten the score, before ultimately falling in a 4-2 loss at Texas on Friday. Salomaki and defenseman Matt Abt each registered two-point performances in the loss, as Stars goalie Landon Bow made several critical saves to help preserve the win for Texas.
