Eagles Wish Augusto Best of Luck in New Career

Eagles Wish Augusto Best of Luck in New Career

Nov 5, 2020

On Monday, November 9th the Colorado Eagles will be saying goodbye to Vice President of Ticketing Chris Augusto after a distinguished 18-year career with the organization. An employee of the Eagles since the team’s inaugural season in 2003-04 Augusto’s contributions to the organization have been vital to the success of the Colorado Eagles. Although he will no longer be spending his days in our office and his evenings behind the ticket window at the Budweiser Events Center, Chris will always be a huge part of our tradition and we wish him all the best in his new adventure!

Eagles fans have been the focal point of Chris’ efforts for the better part of two decades and having a heartfelt conversation with each and every one was the hallmark of his tenure. With that in mind, Chris would like to say goodbye by having that conversation one more time.

Dear Eagles Country,

To say I have had an incredible journey while working in sports would be an understatement. After 18 years, I have decided to hang up my sports career and turn the page to a new chapter in my life.

Although I have spent my entire sports career with one organization, I have experienced so much over the years. I have been fortunate enough to be a part of four championships, three leagues, two All-Star Games and a lifetime full of memories. Along the way I met my wonderful wife, had three amazing children, and made long-lasting friendships with fans, colleagues, and clients. There are too many people to thank and so I don’t miss anyone I will say one giant THANK YOU to everyone who has helped me along the way, attended an Eagles game, and all of my talented co-workers.

I am leaving you in very capable hands and I have no doubt that the Colorado Eagles will continue to be one of the best franchises in all of sports with the BEST fans in all of hockey.  Most importantly, I look forward to seeing you at the games while I’m enjoying my time there as a fellow fan!

Again, thank you for all of the memories.

Chris Augusto
