TONIGHT'S GAME –
The Colorado Eagles take on the San Jose Barracuda tonight in the first game of a two-game series. Colorado will face San Jose eight times this season, with four of those games taking place at the Budweiser Events Center. The Eagles trail in the season series with a record of 2-3-0 through the first five meetings.
The first period has been the most dominant this season for Colorado, as the Eagles have outscored the opposition 40-24 in the opening 20 minutes of action. That quick start has also led to Colorado scoring the game’s first goal in 67% of their contests, going 22-4-2 when netting the first goal of the game.
