The Colorado Avalanche revealed its 54-player roster for the teams 2018-19 training camp today and the lineup consists of 31 forwards, 18 defensemen and five goaltenders.
The Colorado Avalanche scored four times in the third period and defeated the San Jose Sharks 6-3 on Tuesday afternoon on the final day of the 2018 Vegas Rookie Faceoff at City National Arena.
"We're hockey players, and we hate to lose," said Colorado defenseman Nicolas Meloche. "It's part of the game, but I think every day we're getting better and that's the goal of rookie camp."
Fresh off winning the ECHL Kelly Cup with the Colorado Eagles in June, forward J.C. Beaudin is one of five skaters that is at his third rookie tournament with the Avs, along with Josh Anderson, Travis Barron, Sergei Boikov and Nicolas Meloche.
“I’m really excited to be here. I’m going to have a shot to show them what I can do at the AHL level and the NHL level, so hopefully it works out.”

The native of Brampton, Ontario, signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Avs on March 29 and got his first taste of professional hockey at the end of last season.
The forward played 17 games with the Avalanche this season.
